Today's Daisy

I found today's daisy on a quilt at Keirunga Quilters quilt exhibition.

I had forgotten all about it until Keriann suggested we go and have a look.
These are some of my favourites. I felt very inspired and wanted to go home and do some quilting.
I love the design of the quilt below, very simple but wonderful. I think I would like to try one of these. My eldest son will be 21 next year. I would like to do a quilt for him. I think this is the design I would like to do.
I loved the colours of this quilt, again very simple but very effective. Unfortunalty, I did not take a photograph of my favourite quilt. I was too busy looking at it.

Spring is perhaps on its way

The wind was coming straight out of the south today, the temperature dropped way down and I could feel the snow on the ranges.
But the sun was shining and the flowers in Keirunga Gardens were flowering. Somewhere around the corner spring is on the way.

Today's Daisies #63

Today's daisies are on a quilt I spotted in this year's exhibition up at Keirunga Gardens. I loved the teapot and teacup.

Some more Blossom

Cherry blossom at Keirunga Gardens. I spent Saturday and Sunday morning sitting quilting at Kierunga with a view over the cherry blossom.

Some of the quilts from the Keirunga Quilt Exhibition, with Ros Lusk as the featured Quilter. My favourite quilt is the tiny little Chicken quilt.

Camellia hedge at Keirunga. Is this the usual time for them to flower, or are they particularly early this year.

Art works at Keirunga Gardens.

The second pic is of work done by the Potters group.

I do not know the history of the first pic. But for some reason three trees have been changed into paintbrushes.
