Spotted this Kingfisher on a fence post this morning.Update: Found this site which has some info about the New Zealand Kingfisher. I though they were another species that had been brought in. I had no idea they were a native species.

Very interesting. These guys looks so different in our part of the world. We've got the Belted Kingfisher, which has a blue head and a blue coat on.
