A couple of days ago I took some pics of the red hot pokers across the rail tracks in Hastings. Then realised that I had taken some pics of the red hot pokers in the UK when we were there. Are they a different variety, do they have a very long flowering season. Down here in the southern hemisphere it is mid winter and up in the UK in the northern hemisphere it is mid summer. I will have to keep an eye out for red hot pokers here. Maybe they just flower all year round. Or perhaps I should get some for my garden so I can watch them all year round.
